About Munt
Money you understand.
Why Munt
Money is everywhere: in your pocket money, at the till, on your payslip, in the news about the index. Yet almost nobody gets to learn calmly how it works. Munt starts from your own wallet and works up to the big questions, with real amounts and without jargon that shuts you out.
Four blocks, always in the same order
Why, See it, Get it, Do it. Then the pitfalls, where you meet it in real life and a bit of history. Every topic shows what you need first and what comes next, so you see the thread through the subject.
Exercises that never run out, to the cent
Every exercise is made by a generator: new amounts every time, with the right answer, a hint and a worked solution. Amounts are calculated and checked exactly in cents, and 12,50 or 12.50 are both fine. Thousands of exercises per topic are tested automatically.
Who makes Munt
Munt is made by Neal Van de Velde (nealvdv), who also made Draad, Ruit and Spoor. Questions, mistakes or ideas are always welcome.
Honest and neutral
Munt sells you nothing. No ads, no brands, no investment advice and no positions of political parties. Where people think differently, for example about how much tax is right, we show the question and not our answer. Examples of scams and companies are made up.
What does Draft mean?
A topic labelled Concept is written with care but not yet reviewed by an economics teacher. The label goes once it has been. Rules such as VAT rates can change: if you see a mistake, let us know.

Munt and Kaft
Munt is part of Kaft, a family of learning apps with one app per subject. Part of Munt is free; for the rest we ask a fair price. That keeps Munt free of ads and tracking.
What does Munt cost?
The learning path and the first 3 topics are free. For all of Munt, you choose one of these plans:
- All of Munt€4 a month · €36 a year
- Kaft bundle, all apps€8 a month · €69 a year
There is also a family plan, a school plan and a free social rate.
You sign in and pay on Kaft. After that, every topic in Munt opens.

Each app has its own subject and its own look, with the same way of working: understanding over cramming, calm and without ads.
Where we come from
Munt is made from a Christian conviction: what you have is entrusted to you, and you may look after it with care, for yourself and for others. That is why Munt teaches you calmly to count, to plan ahead and to share, without guilt. The lessons themselves are neutral economics.
